Michael Salmon

Michael has worked in media, crisis management, government and corporate relations for more than 20 years.

He has extensive experience in strategic planning, campaigning and the workings of government. He was senior media adviser to the former Premier of NSW, Mr Bob Carr, and for other senior federal and state government politicians.

After leaving government in 2005, Michael established Salmon Communications, a communications and government relations consultancy advising on strategic planning, message development, strategic communications and policy/political analysis.

He has been responsible for planning and implementing public relations and issues management programs for a wide range of corporate and project clients in the finance, law, energy/resources and property sectors.

His extensive experience involved in litigation management includes many years working on Australia’s longest-running and most expensive Royal Commission.
